The JDSU HST-3000 Ethernet Service Interface Module (SIM) is a portable Gigabit Ethernet test solution designed for installation, service activation, and troubleshooting of access and carrier Ethernet networks. Supporting both optical and electrical Ethernet interfaces, the HST-3000 Ethernet SIM delivers multi-layer testing, ITU-T Y.1564 service activation, RFC 2544 performance validation, Carrier Ethernet OAM, and application-layer analysis in a single handheld platform.
