MTNetworks OSFP 1.6T 2FR4 1310nm 2km

The MTNetworks MT-OSFP-1T-FR8 is a high-density 1.6Tbps OSFP optical transceiver designed for high-speed Ethernet and InfiniBand interconnects over single-mode fiber (SMF). Operating with 8 × 200Gb/s PAM4 electrical lanes and utilizing a 2×FR4 CWDM optical architecture, the module multiplexes eight electrical channels into two groups of four CWDM wavelengths for transmission up to 3 km using dual duplex LC optical interfaces. Host-side Forward Error Correction (FEC) is required to support maximum transmission distance.

Built in the OSFP-RHS flat-top form factor, the module supports CMIS management and integrated Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) for real-time monitoring of operating parameters. Featuring a dual duplex LC UPC connector, compliant with OSFP MSA specifications, the transceiver enables flexible deployment across 1×1600G, 2×800G, 4×400G, and 8×200G breakout configurations, making it suitable for next-generation AI clusters, hyperscale cloud infrastructure, and high-performance data center networks.
