MTNetworks SFP+ 16G SR Fiber Channel 850nm 100m

The MTNetworks MT-SFP+-16X-SR is a 14.025Gbps SFP+ optical transceiver designed for high-speed optical communication over multi-mode fiber (MMF). Utilizing an 850 nm VCSEL transmitter and a PIN photodiode receiver, the module supports transmission distances of up to 100 m over OM3 multimode fiber and 35 m over OM2 multimode fiber. It is optimized for Tri-Rate 4.25/8.5/14.025G Fibre Channel applications, delivering reliable short-reach optical connectivity for high-performance storage and enterprise networks.

Designed in a hot-pluggable SFP+ form factor, the module features a duplex LC optical connector, integrated Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) compliant with SFF-8472, and full interoperability with the SFP+ Multi-Source Agreement (MSA). Real-time monitoring of temperature, supply voltage, laser bias current, transmit optical power, and receive optical power simplifies network management, making the transceiver suitable for Fibre Channel storage networks, enterprise switching, high-performance computing, and data center optical interconnects.
