MTNetworks SFP 1.25G ER CWDM 1270nm 40km

The MTNetworks MT-SFP-ERC27 is a 1.25Gbps CWDM SFP optical transceiver designed for long-distance optical communication over single-mode fiber (SMF). Operating at a 1270 nm CWDM wavelength (Channel 27), the module utilizes a CWDM DFB laser transmitter and a PIN photodiode receiver to support transmission distances of up to 40 km. It is optimized for Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel, and other 1.25Gbps optical networking applications requiring wavelength-division multiplexing over metropolitan and access fiber networks.

Designed in a hot-pluggable SFP form factor, the module features a duplex LC optical interface, integrated Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) compliant with SFF-8472, and full interoperability with the SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA). Real-time monitoring of temperature, supply voltage, laser bias current, transmit optical power, and receive optical power enables simplified network management, making the transceiver suitable for carrier, enterprise, ISP, metropolitan, and CWDM transport network deployments.
