MTNetworks SFP28 32G SR Fiber Channel 850nm 100m

The MTNetworks MT-SFP28-32X-SR is a 28.05Gbps SFP28 optical transceiver designed for high-speed optical communication over multi-mode fiber (MMF). Utilizing an 850 nm VCSEL transmitter and a PIN photodiode receiver, the module supports transmission distances of up to 100 m over OM4, 70 m over OM3, and 20 m over OM2 multimode fiber. It is optimized for Tri-Rate 8.5/14.025/28.05G Fibre Channel applications, delivering reliable short-reach optical connectivity for storage area networks, enterprise infrastructure, and high-performance computing environments.

Designed in a hot-pluggable SFP28 form factor, the module features a duplex LC optical connector, integrated Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) compliant with SFF-8472, and full interoperability with the SFP28 Multi-Source Agreement (MSA). Real-time monitoring of temperature, supply voltage, laser bias current, transmit optical power, and receive optical power simplifies network management, making the transceiver suitable for Fibre Channel SANs, enterprise switching, HPC clusters, and data center optical interconnects.
