MTNetworks X2 10G ER 1550nm 40km

The MTNetworks MT-X2-ER is a 10Gbps X2 optical transceiver designed for long-reach optical communication over single-mode fiber (SMF). Utilizing a 1550 nm cooled EA-DFB laser transmitter and a high-sensitivity receiver, the module supports transmission distances of up to 40 km. It is optimized for 10GBASE-ER Ethernet applications and high-capacity optical transport systems requiring reliable long-distance connectivity. The module features an XAUI electrical interface and supports line rates of 10.3125Gbps in accordance with IEEE 802.3ae.

Designed in a hot-pluggable X2 form factor, the module features a duplex SC optical connector, integrated Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM), and management through the MDIO two-wire interface. Fully compliant with the X2 MSA Rev.2.0b, the transceiver provides real-time monitoring of operating parameters while delivering reliable performance for carrier Ethernet, enterprise backbone networks, metro optical transport, and data center interconnect applications.
