MTNetworks X2 10G SR 850nm 300m

The MTNetworks MT-X2-SR is a 10Gbps X2 optical transceiver designed for short-reach optical communication over multi-mode fiber (MMF). Utilizing an 850 nm VCSEL transmitter and a PIN photodiode receiver, the module supports transmission distances of up to 300 m over OM3 multimode fiber. It is optimized for 10GBASE-SR Ethernet applications and high-speed optical interconnects, featuring an XAUI electrical interface and supporting line rates of 10.3125Gbps in accordance with IEEE 802.3ae.

Designed in a hot-pluggable X2 form factor, the module features a duplex SC optical connector, integrated Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM), and management through the MDIO two-wire interface. Fully compliant with the X2 MSA Rev.2.0b, the transceiver provides real-time monitoring of operating parameters while delivering reliable performance for enterprise switches, carrier Ethernet, storage networking, and data center interconnect applications.
