The JDSU E8126VSRE is a high-resolution very short range single-mode OTDR module engineered for detailed fiber-link characterization in FTTx and access networks. Operating at 1310 nm and 1550 nm, this module provides optimized pulse widths, short event and attenuation dead zones, and high sampling resolution to accurately measure fiber attenuation, splice and connector loss, reflectance, and optical return loss (ORL).
