The JDSU/VIAVI MTS-6000A equipped with the E8146SRL SRL OTDR module is a high-performance quad-wavelength optical time-domain reflectometer designed for precise characterization of both multimode and singlemode fibers. Engineered for LAN, enterprise, data center, access, and short-haul networks, the E8146SRL offers industry-leading event dead zones, fast acquisition, and high dynamic range, enabling accurate detection of splices, connectors, macro-bends, reflections, and fiber faults.

Its combination of 850/1300 nm (MM) and 1310/1550 nm (SM) wavelengths provides full coverage for installation, troubleshooting, certification, and maintenance applications. With advanced automation and seamless integration into the MTS-6000A platform, the module significantly improves productivity and reduces testing time for field technicians.
