Albedo Telecom Industrial IP Access Point Net.Edge

The ALBEDO Telecom Net.Edge is an industrial IP access point designed for critical communications across WAN and substation environments. It extends timing distribution from Net.Time platforms toward network edges and can operate as either a Boundary Clock (BC) or Transparent Clock (TC), filtering and regenerating PTP signals before distributing them through its Ethernet ports. The platform combines Carrier Ethernet, MPLS-TP, TDM over Packet, and synchronization capabilities in a compact industrial enclosure.

The Net.Edge provides 2 × 2.5GbE and 6 × GbE interfaces with an 11 Gbps switch matrix, together with MPLS-TP protection, Carrier Ethernet 2.0, MEF UNI/NNI, Ethernet OAM and performance testing, VLAN stacking, and optional TDM SFP adapters. For synchronization, it supports SyncE, IEEE 1588, NMEA, PPS, and C37.238 Power Profile. The fanless platform operates from 24–110 VDC, supports dual battery inputs, and is designed for industrial environments with IP40, IEC 61850-3, and IEEE 1613 compliance.
