Albedo Telecom FPGA-Based Network Capture Device Net.Hunter

The ALBEDO Telecom Net.Hunter is a portable, FPGA-based Ethernet network capture and monitoring device designed for transparent full-duplex traffic monitoring at wire speed. It combines hardware-based forwarding, packet filtering, timestamping, and high-speed local storage, allowing engineers to capture, filter, mirror, and analyze Ethernet traffic without interrupting the monitored link. The platform supports Ethernet operation from 10 to 1000 Mbit/s and provides independent configurable filtering for precise traffic selection.

The Net.Hunter provides two inline SFP ports and two RJ45 mirror ports, with support for programmable Ethernet, VLAN, IPv4, IPv6, TCP, and UDP filtering. Captured traffic can be stored locally on a 120 GB or 500 GB SSD, forwarded to an external protocol analyzer, or exported in PCAP/PCAPNG format with hardware timestamps. The handheld platform also supports optional PoE/PoE+ pass-through, remote management, web access, VNC, and SNMP, making it suitable for field troubleshooting and network monitoring applications.
